Templates
Templates are provided as Word Document Template (.dotx) and as LaTeX via Overleaf. They are pre-formatted based on the guidelines: margins, line spacing and page numbering, preliminary pages, headings, etc... which will save significant time and effort in ensuring proper layout.
The templates are to be used as they are, regardless of the referencing/citation style chosen (APA, IEEE, or any other style agreed upon with your advisor); the latter will only dictate the format of the in-text citations and list of references/bibliography at the end of the document.
The HBKU thesis template is a Word Template document that opens in a new copy for you to work on while preserving the original/raw file for you to refer to when/if needed. You may delete the raw file if not needed.
Guidelines
The formatting of the thesis document at HBKU must abide by the guidelines stated hereby. The student is advised to download and use the template from the beginning of the work on the thesis. Please refer to the following PDF document that includes all the steps to follow.

The signed Committee Signature Form should be uploaded onto the Similarity Index Approval form within iProcess.
